Abstract
Summary Background Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) provides an assessment of cerebral oxygenation and tissue hemoglobin concentration. Aim The aim of this study was to investigate whether the cerebral oxygenation and hemoglobin concentration measured with NIRS could predict outcomes after pediatric cardiac surgery.
