Learning modules for biomechanics: Preliminary experiences with the VaNTH Engineering Research Center

Abstract
The development of a learning module for musculoskeletal biomechanics was discussed. The module introduced students to the elementary concepts in mechanics and muscle physiology as they relate to human human movement. It was stated that the incorporating learning technologies in the module enabled instructor to better assess, evaluate, and utilize the understanding of students in the biomechanics domain.
