Abstract
13C–1H heteronuclear chemical shift correlation spectroscopy has been applied to provide unambiguous assignments for 13C (C=0) and 1H (CH2, CH3, and OCH3) NMR resonances in poly(methyl [carbonyl-13C]methacrylate) spectra to configurational sequences at the pentad or tetrad level. The important advantages that arise with the use of a selectively enriched polymer sample are demonstrated. © 1986, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
