Abstract
Energy beamforming has drawn significant research attention as an alternative technique to power wireless networks. In this paper, we consider energy beamforming to maximize the total harvested energy of a multi-user communication network. Since the harvested energy depends on the network size, i.e., number of transmit antennas and number of users, we discuss their effects on maximum total harvested energy. Further, by using results on the convergence of the maximum eigenvalue of certain large random matrices, we study the total harvested energy for large networks.
