Abstract

The WALLTURB project was a challenging research program, in line with the objectives of the EC FP6 program in Aeronautics and of strong industrial interest at intermediate and long term. The WALLTURB consortium was a combination of 16 research teams from University, research organizations and aeronautical industry shaped to tackle the challenges of the project.The global aim of WALLTURB was to bring in four years a significant progress in the understanding and modelling of near wall turbulence in boundary layers.
