Broadband printed antennas for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint wireless millimeter-wave applications

Broadband mm-wave printed antennas for point-to-multipoint (PMP) and point-to-point (PTP) applications based on the Aperture Stacked Patch (ASP) antenna are presented. A linear array of ASP elements is proposed and investigated for PMP applications and a lens coupled ASP antenna is presented for PTP systems. The impedance bandwidth performance and radiation characteristics of the proposed antennas are discussed.
