Quantitative in-line phase-contrast imaging with multienergy x rays

Abstract

A quantitaive nondestructive characterization of objects by x-ray phase contrast imaging was presented. The images at differnt x-ray energies were obtained by tuning the energy of incident x-rays with a suitable source or monochromator or by using a polychromatic incident beam and energy sensitive x-ray area detector. The major advantages of this method were decreased radiation dose and increased accuracy.
