Abstract
This thesis investigates how Aboriginal traditional owners maximise social, cultural, environmental and employment benefits from native title land access agreements with resource companies. The findings emphasise the importance of strong Aboriginal organisations, favourable government policy and the continuing practise of Aboriginal law.
