Long-term outcome and rehabilitation

Abstract

Treatment outcomes research for people with psychotic disorders and a number of longitudinal studies of patients with various conditions add to the understanding of influences on long-term outcome. Community treatment and specific interventions can be linked with recovery or rehabilitation. However, services differ greatly in their effectiveness, and communities in their level of acceptance.
