This chapter examines the use and potential of coaching for wellbeing at work. The workplace is an important context for many adults, providing an opportunity for policy makers to introduce wellbeing initiatives as part of the aim to improve the overall wellbeing of the population and not only treat illness. Conversely, from an employer's perspective, the improved wellbeing of employees can have business and performance benefits including increased personal productivity, improved work performance and decreased staff turnover.
