Abstract
Forster energy transfer between 5-(N-octadecanoylamino)fluorescein (donor) and 5-(N-hexadecanoyl-amino)eosin (acceptor), embedded in a lipid monolayer at the air—water interface, has been observed by using steady-state fluorescence spectral measurements.
