Bounds on self-avoiding walks on directed square lattices

Abstract

The Manhattan lattice is the covering lattice of the L lattice and the author has studied self-avoiding walks on this pair of lattices. Upper and lower bounds on the connective constant ( mu ) have been obtained, as have series analysis estimates.
