Critical behavior of the n-Vector model with a free surface

Abstract

Correlation-function exponents and appropriate to the free-surface problem have been obtained by renormalization-group calculation to order 2. By using the scaling relations 1=(2-) and 11=(1-), expansions for 1 and 11 are obtained. These expansions are in agreement with the surface scaling relation 21-11=+, but disagree with the relation 11=-1 due to Bray and Moore. © 1980 The American Physical Society.
