Abstract

Games are fast becoming a means for players to learn and develop their collaboration skills. In many online games players are required to draw on their competitive nature and compete against their partner. Collaboration, however, specifies that information, resources and expertise are distributed between players such that these can be accessed to fulfill common goals. In the context of problem-based games where more than one player is required, players are required to pool their resources, and therefore collaborate, in order to be successful.
