Australasian HIV/AIDS conference 2009

Abstract

Members of the Australasian Society for HIV Medicine (ASHM) include doctors, scientists, social scientists, epidemiologists, nurses and other allied health professionals who work in the field of HIV medicine, and the annual ASHM conference is targeted towards this membership. Furthermore, the ASHM has strong partnerships across the Asia and Pacific regions and, therefore, doctors, social researchers, nongovernment organizations and groups representing people living with HIV/AIDS from countries from the Asia and Pacific regions were well represented.
