Correlation functions for spin systems of high spatial dimensionality

Abstract

We investigate the correlation functions and the critical exponent ν for Ising models and spherical models on d-dimensional hypercubic lattices in the limit d → ∞ Our results include a generalization of the Ornstein-Zernike theory, and an alternative explanation of the crossover phenomenon described by Baker. © 1975 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
