Abstract

Patient-derived xenograft (PDX) programs are crucial research tools in providing high-quality preclinical data for successful drug development, proof of principle of novel therapy efficacies, and the search for relevant biomarkers. These PDX programs are difficult to generate, costly to run and maintain, and must be able to change dynamically in line with technological and scientific advances.
