The ability to anticipate global environmental changes will significantly reduce the biophysical, social and economic costs associated with eventual adaptation. An abstract modelling process often supports evidence-based decision making. Nonetheless, there are inherent difficulties for stakeholders in understanding complex scenario modelling.
