With advances in transport and communication technologies, members of diasporas can easily connect with their countries of family origin. They can develop the transnational cultural, political and commercial links that have become a feature of the global economy—the importance of which is not yet widely understood. This report, contributes to that understanding. It focuses on those within Australia’s Asian diasporas who are engaged in business, trade and investment activities—the business diasporas.
