Abstract

A latest route to disperse carbon nanotubes in aqueous solutions using a polycation dispersant was reported. It was demonstrated that the dispersed carbon nanotubes can be purified by utilizing the instability of impurities in poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) suspensions. It was observed that individual tubes, free from significant entanglement were dispersed on the whole grid and no large aggregates were found.
