Abstract
Rat kidney homogenates incubated with parathyroid hormone labeled with 131I rapidly destroyed the labeled hormone. Theactivity was maximal in the microsomal fractionand was abolished by prior heating to 60 Cfor 30 min. (Endocrinology 84:162, 1969)
