Abstract

With regard to the massive community problem, we should ask whether or not we are training new medical graduates to be able to alleviate the pain and disability of the rheumatic diseases through correct diagnosis and adequate treatment. To this end, a questionnaire was sent to all medical schools in Australia to ascertain the level of exposure of undergraduate students to a rheumatology teaching programme through contact either with a rheumatology unit or with a rheumatologist.
