Measurement of the tensor analyzing power T21in d elastic scattering

Abstract
The first measurements of the tensor analyzing power T21 in the d elastic scattering reaction have been made using a tensor polarized deuteron target. Eleven angles were studied at a pion bombarding energy of 180 MeV. The results are shown to be in agreement with Faddeev calculations. © 1987 The American Physical Society.
