Each year the Australian Federal Parliament releases the annual report for the "Close the Gap" (CTG) Campaign, which addresses the disadvantage faced by Indigenous Australians in life expectancy, child mortality, education and unemployment (Australian Government 2009). The first report in 2009 was a response to the development of a bold agenda for transformational change for Australia's First Peoples.
