Abstract

Hydrogen T1 values are reported for deoxygenated solutions in CDCl3 of toluene, p‐xylene and nine derivatives in which the CH3 is flanked by one or two chlorine or bromine substituents. Only small differences were observed, the T1 values all being in the range 5.8–12.8 s, and there was no obvious correlation of T1 with structure. Copyright © 1987 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.
