Key Points• Bone tumors are less common within the scapula. • Characteristic imaging features may be present or absent. • Being a flat bone with complex anatomy, diagnosis and staging of tumors may be more difficult compared with long bones. • A combination of imaging modalities is best to characterize, stage, and preoperatively image these lesions.
