Abstract

The central theme of the book is the new model of human evolution, based on long and dynamic evolutionary interaction between human ancestors and the ancestors of the big cats. It is claimed that in order to defend themselves from the ancestors of big cats, humans gradually developed a specific altered state of consciousness, which the author calls “the Battle Trance”.
