Abstract
Dilute but strongly interacting colloidal systems are investigated using a highly asymmetric primitive model electrolyte. An analytic expression for an effective pair potential which is dependent on the colloidal particle density is obtained. Solutions in the hypernetted chain approximation to the asymmetric electrolyte and to the effective one-component model are compared. © 1982.
