Abstract

This record is for a rendered live ensemble performance of six compositions, performed as part of the University of Melbourne Melba Hall Lunch Hour Concert Series. The researcher performed on the percussion instruments berimbau, cajón, mbira, shekere, and congas. The program showcased compositions with an Afro-Latin American soundscape with an emphasis on showcasing the personal performance and improvisational skills of this creative and talented group of emerging artists.
