Abstract
Background: Mothers of children with a disability are at increased risk of poor mental health compared with mothers of typically developing children. The aim of the study was to describe the mental health care needs and preferences for support of mothers of children and young people aged 0–25 years with a disability. Methods: A cross-sectional study was used, using an online survey with 294 mothers of children with a disability.
