Abstract
A new class of ternary cocyclic Hadamard codes were presented. Construction of p-ary codes meeting the Plotkin bound, from any planar function on the additive group of GF(pa), p odd, was described. The Coulter-Matthews planar functions with p = 3 were used to construct new infinite families of ternary category cocyclic codes and gave their performance for a≤6.
