Positive education is the development of educational environments that enable learners to engage in established curricula, while also acquiring knowledge and skills that help to develop their own and other's wellbeing. A key purpose of universities is to educate students. University residences support this process by providing an immersive and hopefully transformative experience in which students can develop as scholars but also as whole people. Positive education makes this latter step more explicit.
