Abstract
Disclosed is a composition for use in raising an immune response to P. gingivalis in a subject, the composition comprising an amount effective to raise an immune response of at least one antigenic or immunogenic portion of a polypeptide corresponding to accession number AAQ66654.1 (SEQ ID NO: 1), wherein the portion comprises at least 10 contiguous amino acid residues substantially identical to 10 contiguous amino acid residues of said polypeptide.
