Abstract
The last five years has seen a wave of “reform” activity in Australia, with multiple new national agencies being established, the creation of 61 new local primary care “coordinating” groups, and changes in hospital governance in many states. Although one can trace a link between this new superstructure and potential improvement in a patient’s experience, it is too early to see the impact of the changes in practice.
