Abstract
A series of isostructural coordination networks of formula [M2IIMIII(μ-OH)(NPy3)(bpdc)3]·xsolvent (M = Co, Ni, Fe) that exhibit a noninterpenetrated binodal (3,9)-net, the first reported hua topology networks, have been constructed from a 3-c ligand, tris(4-(4-pyridin-4-yl)phenyl)amine (NPy3), and a previously known 9-c trinuclear metal carboxylate cluster. The (3,9)-nets exhibit high void space and large uptake capacity for the high pressure storage of CH4 and CO2.
