Abstract

The construction industry creates a significant proportion of global greenhouse gas emissions. It is in a unique position to facilitate both mitigation and adaptation to climate change through the way in which built form in cities is designed and constructed. Yet, there has been limited research to explore the capacity of the sector to both mitigate and adapt. In particular there is a lack of information available about the sources of information drawn upon by those working in the construction industry, the sources of information most trusted, and climate change information needs.
