Abstract

Objective: There is increasing evidence that childhood trauma may play a role in the aetiology of psychosis. Cognitive models implicate trauma-related symptoms, specifically post-traumatic intrusions and trauma-related beliefs as primary mechanisms, but these models have not been extensively tested.
