Abstract

Drawing upon empirical research into international institutional access and harnessing critical analyses of neoliberalism, development, and biopolitics, the authors argue that political and legal claims are framed by a particular construction of indige-neity. This construction is defined by “resilience, adaptability and care for the environment and community”.
