Abstract
Under Professor Jenny’s astute leadership, the OECD’s Competition Division has made a major contribution to a worldwide discourse regarding effective sanctions for cartel conduct. In many instances, the insights and recommendations produced by the OECD have generated significant reforms in individual jurisdictions. This chapter focuses on corporate fines for collusion and uses the Australian experience and its interaction with the OECD in this area to highlight the influence of the intergovernmental organisation on national reform debates.
