Comprehensive care programmes for children with medical complexity

Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: Main objective • Our main objective is to assess the effectiveness of comprehensive care programmes that aim to improve care-coordination and other aspects of healthcare for children with medical complexity. We aim to assess their effectiveness in relation to child and parent health, functioning and quality of life, quality of care, number of healthcare encounters, unmet healthcare needs, and total healthcare-related costs.
