Abstract

The front cover artwork for Issue 10/2019 is a collaboration between the O'Hair group (University of Melbourne, Australia) and the Bonačić-Koutecký group (University of Split, Croatia). The image shows how gas-phase studies of model systems can be used for the design of MOF based catalysts for the selective decomposition of formic acid into hydrogen and carbon dioxide, a reaction of considerable interest for hydrogen storage applications.
