Abstract
In this article we explore the use of ultrashort pulsed lasers in time-resolved fluorescence measurements for the study of the dynamics of excimer formation and energy transfer/migration in synthetic aromatic polymers. The temporal profile of monomer and excimer emission, and the use of time-resolved fluorescence polarization approaches are discussed.
