Oxford University Press | Published : 2019

Abstract

This extensively revised edition addresses key normative principles, rules, and standards in United Nations (UN) peacekeeping that have developed since 2010. For example, in operations such as those conducted in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, and South Sudan, UN peacekeepers are engaged in building peace by fighting non-State armed actors.
