Abstract

This series of monthly podcasts and articles uses practice-based journalism methodologies to shed light on the shifting geopolitical realities of Xi Jinping’s China. The research contribution includes immediate, scholarly analyses of geopolitical trends using journalism practice to discover information that is not available from other sources, for example the ‘War on Uighurs’ series derived from semi-structured interviews with members of the Uighur community in Adelaide. These are placed within a scholarly context, using analysis from experts in the field.
