A new method for consistency improving in the AHP with possibility-satisfiability degree

Abstract
In this paper, the concept of "Possibility-satisfiability degree" is introduced into the Cons stency improving process of judgment matrix in AHP, and the definition and formula of Possibility-satisfiability degree of the comparison matrix are presented. Then accompanied with this criteria and the traditional weighted geometric mean method, an effective algorithm is designed this derive improved matrix of acceptable consistency with minimum deviation from the decision-maker' s original preferences information. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the efficiency of this new approach.
