When there are more than two related quality variables needed to be monitored for the supplier's product, it involves the evaluation of multivariate process capability of the vendors. This paper firstly made use of the theory of entropy and samples from multivariate process of the suppliers to estimate the process entropy of each variable and the univariate process capability index (PCI), then a new multivariate process capability index (MPCI) was deduced by synthesizing the univariate PCIs through the entropy method. To obtain the relative statistical inferences and avoid the stochastic errors in single sampling, the bootstrap sampling technique was used to simulate the distribution of the ..
