Mythographies: Reclaiming the body through ephemeral architectures of performance

Since 2003, architect and performance designer, Dorita Hannah and dancer-choreographer, Carol Brown have been developing collaborative processes for the transmutation of location, situation, and corporeal presence into performance event. Through works such as Touch Tower (Prague 2003) Her Topia (Athens 2005) and Aarero Stone (Wellington 2006), they have created performance environments that intertwine memory, mythology and place; staging encounters between performers and audience to provoke the palpably real of global events.
