Mnemosyne: a re-membering of three dance-architecture events

This performance exhibition for the New Zealand National Exhibit of the Prague Quadrenniale of Performance Design and Space at the National Gallery, Veletztrni Palace re-presents fragments of 3 productions created by Carol Brown, Dorita Hannah and Russell Scoones (2005-2011). Through a performance installation that engages with the mythical figure of Mnemosyne and her pool of remembrance. It utilizes the New Zealand installation, a fly-tower, as an archival repository of objects, choreographic gestures and sounds, which reanimate moments from three productions, Her Topia (Athens 2005), Aarero Stone (Wellington 2006) and Tongues of Stone (Perth 2011).
