Abstract

Is there an inter-disciplinary body? A body, capable of moving fluidly between discourses, disciplines, methods and processes? A body that exceeds its own knowledge in the acquiring of the unfamiliar and in the inhabiting of the previously unknown? Perhaps the inter-disciplinary body is a body without loyalty, a body without fidelity to any particular disciplinary technique or method, a promiscuous body able to flirt and fall for a heterogeneous array of potential partners, as well as physical and virtual agencies.
