Abstract

TUNA MAU is a dispersed site-responsive event that transforms the reclaimed land of Tamaki Makaurau’s Wynyard Quarter into a performance landscape by unearthing buried narratives that recall the former Waitemata coastline and the local stream once filled with indigenous long-finned eel, as well as the pan-Pacific story of lovers Hine and Tuna. http://www.emergentecologies.net/tuna-mau/
